So yeah just updateing since I haven't in a whiiiiile. Have to say this: Art college is so awesome! Honestly you can never truly experience the art world until you have been in art college so I suggest if you haven't had this wonderful experience or have experienced it yet FIND A WAY!!! My perception of what art was and could do was very limited before I went to NCAD (National College Of Art and Design) but now I look forward to experienceing every single day because I know I'm going to develop more skills and expand my mind. I even enjoy the Tuesday lectures because they're so damn interesting!! O_o I'm so thankful everyday to have a chance to go to this college. Although I do believe I'd have to love the college as much as I do to make a two and a half journey to get there everyday lol! Seriously, there is no way in hell I would travel that far if I disliked the college in any way. So basically I'm just saying if you are interested in art you should definitely get the experience of an art college and believe me you'll love it!! I'm not sure what every art college is like and if they're all fun though...But if you live in Ireland apply for NCAD and if you get in I can guarantee you'll be incredibly happy! The tutors are so helpful with everything! Especially teaching you animation and photoshop. I didn't have a clue about anything like that before I went there and now I even know the advanced stuff lol! Right now I'm doing a two week block of ceramics and its so cool! Making your ideas in clay can be extremely rewarding and as soon as I get the pieces I have made completely finished (fired and glaced) I will upload a few photos of them for all to see!!
